get light into it.

And what we're going to get into today is kind of a history lesson as well as talk about

today's politics.

And it's the House of Representatives, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives,

tries to save destructive Columbia Democrats from themselves.

That's what we're talking about.

So you have to really go back into history a little bit to talk about what's going

on now.

There's a situation between the House of Representatives controlled by Republicans, the

local government of the District of Columbia, the Democratic Party, and President Joe Biden

possibly.

So to really talk about this, you have to go back in history.

So the relationship between Congress and the local government in the District of Columbia

is long and it's very complicated.

It goes back to the Constitution.

The founders created the District of Columbia specifically as the home for the new

federal government.

The idea was to create a new seat of government that was not in any state, and it was not beholden

to any state, and it was not under the control of any state.

That was absolutely key.

They did not want the federal government to essentially be held hostage by a state should
