And it is a lovely Friday morning here in the PNW.

I'm going to get out of here a little bit earlier than normal because it's going to try

to go enjoy the sun and get outside.

Before I do that, I had to make sure, came on and did a show that I wasn't sure I was going to exactly what I was

going to talk about today and then we got some news yesterday. Gino Smith signs a contract with the

Las Vegas Raiders. I'm happy for Gino Smith. I'm happy for the Raiders. And that was my initial

reaction. Good for them. And yet, there is all sorts of conversation and dust that has been kicked up by the signing of this deal. Why did Gino Smith get that much money? Why didn't the Seahawks give Gino Smith that much money? What does this say about John Schneider? What is this say about Sam Darnold? And I got to admit, some of it, some of it tweaks me a little bit. It does. And I'll talk about that. Then also I started to see some things crop up again what I'm going to call myths and hopefully by

end of this show you will call myths about the difference between Sam Darnold and Gino

Smith. There are absolutely differences. I have gone on you know sports radio. I've gone on multiple

places and said I think Gino Smith is a better

quarterback than Sam Darnold. So I'm not just being a homer about Seahawks stuff, but some of the

things I hear about Sam Darnold's flaws, the numbers don't back that up. So I want to clear up

some of those things before I give myself the day to get outside

and enjoy the weather.
