On April 11, 2007, a little six-year-old girl named Ada McNeil was with her dad, 51-year-old Martin McNeil, in their car.

Martin McNeil had just picked Ada up from school in the town of Pleasant Grove.

It's a small community about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City.

They got home at 1145. And as soon as they pulled in, they went upstairs to check on Martin's

wife and Ada's mom, 50-year-old Michelle McNeil. Michelle had recently had facelift surgery,

so she had been recovering at home.

Martin would later tell investigators that he had planned to have lunch at home with his wife

so that he could check up on her.

But when he and his daughter Ada went upstairs to the bathroom, they got a shock.

Michelle was lying in the jacuzzi bathtub.

She was totally unresponsive. She was dressed in a white

Mormon temple garment. Martin called 911 and he told Ada to run to the neighbor's house to get help.

So Ada did. She went to the home of their neighbor, Christy Daniels. Ada was frantic.

She told Christy that her dad Martin needed help at home.

So Christy ran out of her house and into the McNeil's house.

The door was already open, and she could hear Martin screams upstairs.

Everybody knew the McNeil's.

Martin McNeil was a wealthy doctor and lawyer. His wife,

Michelle, was a former beauty queen. They had eight children, four biological children, and four

adopted, and seemed to have the perfect, big, happy American family. Michelle McNeil was a stay-at-home

mom to their eight children.

She lived for her kids and spent all of her free time with her family. When Christy got upstairs
