Summary
I've fallen off the reading wagon in a big way, but I know I'm missing out so in this episode I pledge to get back on it and I'm starting with two great reads recommended by my friend Charlotte: Leaving Microsoft to Change the World by John Wood and The Skeleton Cupboard by Tanya Byron. Then we move onto The Power of Actor by Ivana Chubbuck that I heard about when RuPaul and Michelle Visage raved about it on their podcast.
I've also added the Audible version of Becoming by Michelle Obama to my reading list.
I'm halfway through To Live and Die in LA, the true crime podcast hosted by journalist and author Neil Strauss and I've enjoyed it up to a point...

| 0:56.9 | to get back into the habit of reading. |
| 1:00.1 | And I've definitely fallen back off the wagon. Just yesterday a new book arrived on a day when I could safely give myself an hour in the afternoon to have a cup of tea and read and I didn't get more than two pages in and I couldn't tell you a single a single bit of it. |
| 1:18.7 | My mind was all over the place because I started checking my phone, getting distracted, |
| 1:24.0 | think remembering about an email that I had to send. |
| 1:27.0 | So it was just, I just had to report the mission basically. |

| 1:42.2 | on it I mean simply put that's what it is you're more out on |
