Yes, you heard that right my guest on this episode is Mike Viking, the chief executive of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen and his job is ultimately looking for ways to measure and define happiness.

In 2001, to give you a little bit of a backstory, in 2001 the UN

published a resolution which stated that, air quotes people, the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal and in 2012 it released

its first world happiness report and that world happiness report took into account a number of factors

including health, family, job security, as well as social factors such as political freedom and government corruption and many other things.

The report has been published every year since and Denmark has topped the list four out of five times.
