I know I'm a little bit early, it's not quite Christmas yet, but I wanted to get this out and share it with you guys and I was just hoping it would be a blessing to you.

We're going to go into the theology, the doctrine, the meaning, and the poetry behind the song,

Oh come, O Come, Emmanuel.

This to me is a beautiful Christmas song.

I love this Christmas song.

And this is something I've been looking forward to doing,

and it will be my last stream for this year. At that's my agenda is that not until January

will I be putting out another video and so I wanted to get this out and then I have a

bunch of stuff to do including taking a couple days off with my wife, which will be really nice.

But I have a lot of work ahead of me.

So anyway, I want to jump right into it.

This song is one of the songs I love hearing musically.

It's beautiful. It's got like this eerie kind of

Hopefulness to it. It's just got this real you know some songs have that sort of multi-layered emotional quality and that's kind of this song right here

but it has a lot of depth to it

Theologically as well so we're gonna look at each of the verses and the refrain and we're going to look at scripture and how these things

parallel with the Bible. You might be surprised at how much theology is embedded into a song,

into this song, and maybe songwriters, if you're a songwriter worship leader you might take this

as like inspiration for you to put more scripture and truth of Christ into your

worship songs I think it's a beautiful idea. So I recorded earlier today. I
