Summary

In answering the question of tattoos it's important to not only consider Leviticus 19:28 but also what Romans 14 teaches us about handling potentially contentious issues of conscience. On one side we have those who can not distinguish the difference between following their own conscience and requiring that everyone else does. On the other side we have some who recognize a liberty to get a tattoo while forgetting to partner this liberty with wisdom and love. Both of these errors causes division in the body of Christ. 0:33.3	to understand the Old Testament prohibition against tattoos what was that
0:36.2	about number two how does that apply to us today who were in Christ and number
0:41.6	three what does wisdom and love say about how we should handle this
0:46.0	contentious and divisive issue because this issue not only causes confusion
0:51.0	in my opinion it causes a great deal of division in the
0:54.2	body of Christ and that is the thing that bothers me the most and it should be the
0:57.4	thing that bothers you the most. The division is worse than the confusion on
1:01.8	the topic of tattoos.
