Well, here we are, first day of winter.

It is December 1st. If you've been listening for any length of time, you know where this is going. If you're a new listener, you might be thinking, no, today is not the first day of winter.

Well, according to the weather scientists of the world, the meteorologists, December 1st is the first day of winter.

It's referred to as the meteorological first day of winter. And if you follow this to its conclusion, March 1st is the first day of winter. It's referred to as the meteorological first day of winter. And if you follow this to its

conclusion, March 1st is the first day of spring, June 1st, first day of summer, September 1st,

first day of autumn in the northern hemisphere. Southern hemisphere, all that is reversed. And essentially the weather scientists of the world are saying, you know what,

we're looking at the weather patterns, we're looking at the temperatures,

and December 1st, it's first day of winter.

We don't need to wait three more weeks for it to feel like winter.

And quite frankly, you know, does it still feel like fall?

I mean, maybe where you are, the weather today is autumn-like. But when you get into December,

I have long, even before I understood this concept of the meteorological seasons,

say December 10th, that has never felt like autumn to me. It's like it's winter now.

It's winter.

December is a winter month.

It's not a fall month.

It's not autumn.

So using the weather scientists logic,

welcome to the first day of winter. Of course, I don't know how you feel

about winter. I don't know how you feel about December as a month. If you were to rank the 12 months
