I'm going to keep the introduction very short just because this episode is pretty self-explanatory, and our discussion went much longer than anticipated.

But today I'm talking to Dominic Grossman, and course this time of the year it's often fun to

kind of look back and reflect on the year that was and with the decade coming to a close as well

Dominic and I thought it would be fun to get on the phone and do some reflection on the last

decade in ultra running Dominic and I came into the sport just about 10 years ago

together at basically the exact same time. We're basically the same age. And because of that,

we've always been good friends. And we always have these kind of fun and hilarious conversations

offline about the state of the sport and things that

are happening. So we figured we were, we would record something like that here, take a step

into the time capsule that was the 2010s and talk about what we thought were some of the

most important moments of the decade in the sport.

Of course, Dominic is also a very hardworking dad and has a beautiful young daughter named Lindy Grossman.

And you may hear Lindy vocalize a little bit here in this episode.

So shout out to her and her enthusiasm for the sport as well.
