ChatGBTGBT and other artificial intelligence platforms are becoming a seemingly common part of everyday life in the digital age.

Though these AI tools can be useful, they can also be exploited for sinister purposes.

In October, authorities arrested the suspect behind the deadly Pacific Palisades fire,

in part, thanks to ChatGBTGT logs, which show he asked the platform to generate images of burning

cities. This isn't the only criminal case with ties to the AI site. After an investigation

into the Las Vegas Tesla cyber truck explosion on New Year's

Day, police claimed the suspect used ChatGBT to assist in planning the attack. Rob Lee is a

digital forensics and AI expert and head of faculty at the Sands Institute. He joins me now with a look

at this new form of evidence

and how it can be used to prosecute criminals. So Rob, thank you for being with us today.

And first of all, just to start off so that the audience gets to know you. Tell us a little bit

about yourself, your work, and your background. I've been working in the field for about 30 years now, started in cybersecurity, and all across

the U.S. government supported law enforcement and the Air Force supported law enforcement a lot

with the FBI. I've trained probably 5,000 across the board.
