So how would you get us started by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do?

Really, I started working as a little boy.

So my view of the world is a little bit different than others.

I joined the publishing business. Very very young. I went and did a co-op when I was in high school. And they said, do you want to go off and check out the steel factory, Pat? And I went, no, I don't think so. There's a newspaper in town, a Daily, the Hamilton Spectator. I'd like to go there. They said, sure. So they sent me, I walked in, there's all these people smoking cigarettes,

drinking coffee, making little drawings and stuff like that. They're on the phone. They were

a great time. And I thought, oh my God, that's me. I belong here. This is fun. So I went back to

high school and I said, I don't do sciences. I don't do math. I don't do

do geography. I don't do history. They said, what do you do? I said, anything this business, otherwise I'm not in, you've got to find something else from you to do. So long story short is, is that I did switch over, but I was many times the only guy in the class. It was all female. Because in those days, what they did was they trained women to work in
