Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since 2013, averaging just under 21,000 steps a day.

I am walking right now. I would love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes or so.

It is a beautiful but crisp morning here in South Carolina, temperature 47 degrees, and it feels like it. Gratefully there is almost no wind, otherwise I think I might replace the word crisp with the word cold.

But 47 degrees is not 67, so I'm layered up so I can be comfortable.

And I just need to pause for a moment.

As I was starting out, I saw something run across the road right here and into that grove of trees right there.

It was either a fox or a raccoon.

It was moving with purpose.

And it looks like it has gone into the trees.

I don't see it.

I don't see any glowing eyes staring at me.

So that's a good way to start the day.

So the skies are clear.

Yesterday we had that rain that I was walking in and wind continued for most of the day.

And then last night the skies cleared out.

And it is supposed to be a beautiful day today, although a little cooler than normal here in South Carolina.
