Summary

We reach the pinnacle of why Jesus came to earth in Mark 15 as He is condemned to death and subsequently hung on a cross. As we solemnly stop to consider the cross, we look at three important facts that make it so noteworthy, paramount to our faith, and transformative for all who will believe.

So let's take a look here, Luke chapter 23, and we'll begin here in verse 26. Luke 23, 26.

It says in verse 26, and as they let him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian,

coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

And there followed him a great company of people on women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
