So today we're just going to talk about how she got started in worm composting and where she looked to to educate herself when she was first getting started.

So would you mind just kind of telling us kind of how you got into vermic composting as a hobby?

Yeah, absolutely.

So in 2016, I got really sick and I've been out of work and it kind of, I had this extra time because I wasn't working to think about stuff I wanted to do with our house.

We had only lived here for two years and we had a yard so I wanted to garden and since the health

was on the forefront of my mind I started to think about what I could do to eat healthier and live healthier so I wanted to do a garden but I wanted to do it organically. And somehow I fell down a rabbit hole

researching and found these Yitubers doing this verma composting stuff which I've never heard of and so basically I ordered a pound of worms and a worm factory 360 and like with no knowledge whatsoever of what I was doing it was just like oh this sounds great it's good compost for my garden

and to grow these plants without you know miracle grow or whatever product that I didn't necessarily want to be putting on my plants.

And next thing you know, I just kept adding bins and adding systems and started my own
