Hey my friends welcome back to the morning mindset. I'm so thankful that you are here with me to get your mind a line for the truth of this day.

How are you doing today? I want you to stop and just kind of do an

assessment. What are you feeling right now? Where is your mind? Are you in a place of

fear, anxiety, panic, peace? Where are you right now? It's good to take an assessment now and then and to understand what our starting point is when we begin a day and that's what

the morning mindset is here to help you do. And more so, we want to take the truth of God and use it as a target, so to speak,

as a destination. This is where we're headed with our mindset and with our emotion.

We want to be on track with how God wants us to think and behave in the world.

And so Romans 837 through 38 is going to help us along that line today. This is perhaps one of the most encouraging

passages that I can imagine ever reading because it's reassuring us in those

times when we do feel anxiety or we feel fear or doubt or pressure or

any of those negative things that can cause us to spiral downward.

This reassures us. Let's read it together. Romans 8, 37 through 38. The

apostle Paul has just made a long list of things like persecution, nakedness, sword, peril, and he says can those things

separate us from the love of God?

And he says here in verse 37, no, in all these things we are more than conquerors through

him who loved us.

For I am sure that neither death nor life nor angels nor rulers nor present things or things to come

nor powers nor nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able

to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Paul has just given us what seems to be a pretty
