All right, we are looking at Romans chapter 8

versus 33 through 37.

And we started yesterday looking at this issue,

this question Paul raises, of whether or not anything

can separate us from Jesus' love for us.

And you may instinctively say no and that's the right answer. But do you know why? Do you understand

what the basis is for saying that nothing can separate us from Jesus' love.

You see, because Paul goes through a very big list here of the kinds of things that are fearful

and threatening to us as human beings.

And he says, can any of these things separate us from the love of Jesus?

And he says, it even feels like we are being killed, we're being slaughtered like sheep for the sake of Jesus.

And in a circumstance like that, we definitely can feel like we are as distant from Jesus as we can be.

But verse number 37 of Romans chapter 8, Paul gives us the final answer.

He says, no, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
