Summary
The coastguard is this week’s topic at the behest of Cat of Ontario, Canada. Given the fact that Canada is the nation with the longest coastline in the world perhaps Cat is hoping to find out whether or not Canada also has the longest coastguards? Although, if so, given that Cat is not only from Canada but is also a member of the the Canadian Coastguard, this seems like the sort of thing they could have found out for themselves. But then again maybe that won’t come up.

| 0:00.0 | 3 Bean Salad is brought to you by Airbnb. |
| 0:02.8 | Pam's kennel is not to be found on Airbnb. That's because it doesn't exist, because she stays in the house with me, and she sleeps in the bed with me, and it's luxury. She sees you as a cushion with a moustache. And she's right. However, you could put your home on Airbnb, Mike. That's true. You could earn extra income by hosting on Airbnb wider on holiday, for example. See how much your place is worth at Airbnb.com.com.com. |
| 0:22.9 | It's worth at Airbnb.com. Is it? Is it? I think so. Yeah. Yes, welcome back, everyone. Welcome back. Anyway, before we started recording, Henry, you said you had something to ask me, and it sounds like portentious. Well, no, no, I just wanted to ask, because I joined the, I joined the meeting a little bit later than you two, so you two were both already in the room, as it were. |
| 0:56.7 | I love that you think of it as a meeting. |
| 1:02.5 | In a way, it is, isn't it? |
| 1:04.4 | And the listeners are listening to the audio minutes. |
| 1:08.9 | But in a weird way, we got into the creative spheres, and these are creative spheres, aren't they, that we're in? |
| 1:14.4 | There's no point being ashamed of that. |
| 1:16.3 | We're in creative spheres. |
| 1:17.9 | Or blobs. |
| 1:19.7 | Some of them aren't perfectly spherical, some of them are a bit more blobby. |
| 1:22.4 | Yeah. |
| 1:22.9 | Some of them have got sort of weird discoloration within the blob, which is not clear where it's come from. |
| 1:28.0 | But it's probably pollution, even if it catches the light really nicely. |
| 1:31.3 | It's almost certainly microplastics. |
| 1:33.1 | It's almost certainly microplastics. |
| 1:34.8 | Just swallow it and forget about it. |
| 1:39.8 | Apparently, you know, there's some research that shows that microplastics are in every part of the human body, including sort of every fetus and it's even in your brain and all that kind of stuff. Apparently it's not, it's been questioned now whether that was watertight. Okay. Oh, really? It might be that we're not full of microplastics. Oh, God, in that case, we're... But then there'll be something else to worry about, obviously. |
| 2:01.2 | Yeah, |
| 2:01.4 | but also how full are we? |
| 2:03.2 | I mean, |
| 2:03.4 | maybe we, are we like 75% full? In that case, that still seems like a lot. I think it depends what your chopping board's made of. And you, of course, you mean that metaphorically? Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah. |
