Four and a half years ago, John and I sat down in my living room to record the very first episode of the

Four and a half months ago, I came up with the idea that instead of doing our usual

Q&A we should celebrate our 200th episode with an actual video documentary

exploring the history of the show and conversations with

some of our favorite guests on our mutual love of movies.

John liked the idea so we recorded some interviews and I started cutting. Two and a half months ago it

was time to release that documentary. After all it's only natural for episode 200

to come immediately after episode 199.

Unfortunately, the fact is I had bitten off a little more than I could chew.

I mean, I knew that editing a documentary was very different from editing a podcast, but that turned out to be a bit of an understatement.

But today, I am very happy to announce that the Cinephiles 200th episode spectacular is officially finished,
