This is hell. The law in fact has been used time and time again to suppress people who are not deemed as

equal, seen as they're seen as inferior and seen as worthy of degradation.

It's what is at the heart of white supremacy and privilege,

wherever it raises its ugly head.

However, there's a kind of supremacy,

a system that structurally enforces

fictionalized differences among humans

that predates white supremacy. Instead of a focus on racism against people of

color, this earlier concept, this earlier form, invoked anti-Semitism

against those who practice Judaism. Once Christianity attained political

power during the time of Augustine in the 5th century, the Jewish people were no longer

the chosen people. The Christians had taken their place in that

role and displaced them among the religious and social hierarchy. By the time Western

European nations began engaging in colonialism and imperialism,

this Christian supremacy was applied to the new peoples it had confronted,

and it became racialized.

Which brings us to today in the white Christian supremacy
