Jeff, welcome to the show. Thanks for having me, Robert.

I'm excited to get into this stuff.

As am I, you know, I discovered your work on the Eurodollar University, which is a long-form

podcast series on macro voices, where you lay out, you know, the nitty gritty of the Euro dollar

system, how it functions, how it emerged, and how it's changed over time. And so I have to, first

of all, thank you for that because, you know, I knew of the Euro dollar system before your

work, but I didn't realize just how big and complicated and important

it is. And I think I listened to that macrovoices series three times. So really appreciate that.

Yeah. I think it's it's amazing, isn't it, Robert? Because you know, you think about something like

LIBOR, for example. I think most people have heard of LIBOR, but they don't realize what it actually refers to.

It's some kind of money rate.

There's U.S. dollar markets.

And it's really the basic Eurodollar rate.

And it's just, it's one place where you can begin to walk down the rabbit hole into, okay, what's really going on out there?

What is this euro dollar refer to? What is it actually?

Yes. Yeah, as we were just talking offline, a lot of the difficulty in this space is how

obfuscated things are. You know, there's a lot of technical jargon, a lot of different terms.

As you were even saying, different macro thinkers use their own unique terms. So there's a lot of pieces to put together for the outside listener.

So with that in mind, I know we're going to get complicated and in the weeds and all that.

But I want to start very simply, actually, which is the namesake of this show, What is Money?
