It's April 13th, 2009, and this is the Candid Frame.

Today's guest is master photographer Greg Gorman.

And Greg, for the last several decades, has created a name for himself as one of the

premier portrait photographers of today's age.

He's known for many of his celebrity portraits, which have included Kim Bassenger, Kevin

Costner, Sylvester Stallone, Raquel Welch, Mickey Wark, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elton John, and many, many more.

He's also been renowned for his images and they're used in posters for movies such as

Dances with Wolves, Terminator 2, Field of Dreams, The Moonstruck, The Big Chill, and the Last

Mohicans. He is a fantastic photographer, and if you're not familiar with his work, I suggest you go

and take a look at his website, where you'll see some of his many legendary images.

His work is phenomenal, particularly his use of black and white, and the way he uses lighting

to unique effect.

He was a great person to speak with.

He's been on my radar for quite some time, and I was so pleased to have the opportunity

to visit him at his studio.
