It's November 25th, 2007, and this is the Candid Frame.

It's been a real adventure the last couple of weeks trying to get an episode up.

I've been having a host of different technical problems from my digital recorder to recording Skype and this morning adventures in just trying to record a podcast over garage band.

This is actually the second attempt today to record this podcast.

I'd actually completed it and then when I played it back,

the sound quality was just terrible. So I'm going to try this all over again, and hopefully it'll be the last time I'll have to do it, because there are a lot of things I'd like to get

taken care of this morning. But in any case, today's episode is not going to be your usual interview podcast largely because of

the technical problems that I was having before I had two interviews that I conducted and each had

their own individual and special technical problems which prevented me from getting an episode up

last weekend.

And I was trying to resolve it this week, but one podcast that completely is unusable.

And the other one is going to require a little bit more editing in order to be finally able to put it out and to have you guys listen to it.

So much like the last time I had a technical problem, I thought instead of not having an episode up, I thought I would just talk about myself

and my career and where I am with my own photographic work. It looks like the last time I did

this, it got a really good response and I had a lot of feedback regarding it.

So I thought I'd do a little bit of much of that this time around.

I've been thinking about it for doing it for a while, but particularly this week, I thought, you know,

this was really as good a time as any to be able to do it.

But, you know, it was procrastinating about it because

I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to talk about. And I guess I'm a little self-conscious about

talking about some of the things I'm going to be talking about today. But, you know, there's no time

better than now to be able to do it. And since I definitely want to put a show up, I'm just going to have to yak about myself

...
