Before we hop into today's episode of the Call Room Rising Stars Edition, a quick note that today's

episode is presented by Hoka. Over the years growing up, the Foot Locker National Cross

Country Championships were always on my calendar to watch. And even as I was planning this whole

project, the Call Room Rising Stars Edition, and was talking to my mom on the phone,

she immediately knew what the Foot Locker National Cross Country Championships were, despite not

following the sport at all. And she remembered because I would watch it every single year and

get so excited to watch the races. The road to the national meets starts with the four regional

meets of the West, Midwest, Northeast, and South

regions. The experience that comes with trying to qualify for the most prestigious

national meet in the high school cross-country season is like none other. In fact, if I have

one regret looking back in high school, I highly regret not running the Foot Locker regional meet.

I was in the Midwest region, so it would have been in Kenosha,

Wisconsin. And to this day, I regret not racing it. So don't be like Dominic. Whether you're

trying to compete to make the National Meat or not, I certainly was not. The Foot Locker Regional

Meets have many divisions, including the Freshman, sophomore division, and Open Division,

so that you can race with other high schoolers of your ability to close out

your season on a high note. Come and race with Hoka at your regional meet. You guys can find more
