Hello and welcome to the Friday June 15th 2018 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial

Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maurer. Today we are talking about

Elon Musk's recent Tesla Stock Purchase, as well as some news from the Boring Company.

Tesla Stock on Thursday closed up 3.75% to $357.72, this compared to the NASDAQ up 0.85%.

Right now in the pre-market, Tesla stock is down about three quarters of a percent to $355. fifty five dollars. I would expect and again

this is more just speculation for the fun of it. I still think that we're in a

positive momentum time period and I would expect that the stock closes up today

but again don't take any action based on that

just throwing it out there as my speculation I think the boring company news that we'll talk about in a

second will kind of play into that and Musk has also been buying stock over the last couple of days,

so he's about $25 million between Tuesday and Wednesday.

That's on top of the $10 million share purchase

that we saw last month.

Who knows what the intent of that is for Musk?

It's interesting that he is buying them

during the times when market is closed, so either in pre-market or aftermarket.

Because there is reduced volume during those periods of time that can tend to move the stock price more, which shorts are viewing as manipulating the stock price.

The bullish interpretation is that Elon Musk is buying these relatively small lots of shares

to continue sending a message that he is bullish on Tesla stock and that big things are coming

for the stock on top of the comments that he's made about short burn of the century

etc etc I don't really fully understand the angle behind buying during market close.

So I'll probably have to think about that a little bit more, maybe do a little bit of research.
