today we are talking about the possibility of a short squeeze for Tesla.

Tesla stock on Friday closed up 0.13% to $358.17

this compared to the NasdDAQ down 0.9%.

All right, so this weekend, Elon was pretty active on Twitter,

and again, he decided to give a warning

to people with short positions against Tesla stock.

If you don't feel like you've got a really good understanding of what a short position is,

I explained to the elements of it in the September 22nd episode of Tesla Daily,

it's called Understanding Short Selling and Its Impact on

Tesla. I would recommend going back and listening to that episode because I don't

think this is going to be the end of the conversation about shorts. We know from

the Rolling Stones article a while back and obviously Elon's behavior on Twitter over the last short while that he takes people betting against Tesla very personally.

Back on May 4th, Elon tweeted that the short burn of the century would be coming soon and that the

flamethrowers from the Boring Company should arrive just in time for that short burn.

He followed that up by saying, quote, the sheer magnitude of short carnage will be unreal.

If you're short, I suggest tiptoeing quietly to the exit."

Fred Lambert from Electric followed that up by saying,

quote, is a short burn of the century as bad as a tsunami of hurt,

end quote. That's in reference to a comment that Elon Musk Short burn of the century as bad as a tsunami of hurt."
