Now before we jump into dragons, beasts and heavenly thrones, let's talk about how Christians approach the book of Revelation.

Not everyone sees it the same way.

And that's okay. It's a complex book. Understanding these perspectives will help you to navigate

it. And here are the four main ways that Christians intrepid revelation. The first view is

the preterist view. The preterists believe that most or all of the Revelation's events already happened

in the first century, tied to the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD, and the Roman Empire's persecution

of Christians. They see the book as symbolic of those historical events, not future ones.

For them, reading book of Revelation is like reading

Each symbol or event represents a period, like the rise of the Catholic
