All right so we are going to talk about the biggest lesson that Neil learned from sending out over 255 million emails

0:07.2

So check this out. I don't know if you can see my screen here Eric this is my convert kit Can you see the screen? Yep. So lifetime total

0:15.2

emails I actually have more than 1 million. I'll actually scroll so you can see a

0:18.7

total amount. I have to go somewhat quick because I don't want to share all the

0:21.8

email addresses and mess up people's privacy.

0:25.0

But 1.286 million emails currently.

0:28.0

As you can see on the right side, there's like a lot of different lists.

1:11.9

on affiliate marketing

1:12.8

SEO or I could say, hey sign up for consulting services and we did that

1:16.8

approach for years and it worked. But over the last year or so, it stopped working as well and everyone talks about email

1:26.7

segmentation and how you should do it we found that if you don't segment in

1:31.3

today's world the emails just don't perform well.

1:34.9

It's not that you can't send out generic emails, it's more so that everyone is expecting

1:40.7

segmentation and they feel that's the default.

1:43.4

If their emails aren't relevant enough to them,
