ideas while making fun of them. Today's book is about the endless franchises in Hollywood.

It's the Big Picture by Ben Fritz, who I'm sure wrote this after someone turned down his screenplay.

I'm Kellan Erskine. I'm a comic, a father, and for a book that was written based off of thousands of Sony's very private emails, it's disappointing that it's mostly just about movies.

And I'm David Vance. I can't criticize Hollywood for recycling bad ideas because I, David, am based on an adulterer-murderer-Israelite

king.

The big picture looks at how Hollywood keeps remaking the same stories over and over.

But I keep hearing about that over and over, so two can play this game.
