I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Homb Day edition of the yard.

Back as promised two days in a row after we missed Monday as a travel day, getting back from Rock,

Oklahoma and spending some time with the Rocklehomies.

The NCAA baseball selection show has taken place. We kind of know where we are, where we stand, who we got to play. And it's one of those things when you kind of look ahead. There's so many people that look at this tournament. And it appears to be such a dawning task. And see, here's the deal. We don't have to beat everybody to be the national champion.

We just have to beat the teams we play.

And so that sounds pretty elementary, but it's as simple as this.

You win three in a regional, two in a super regional, then you're in Omaha.

It's as simple as that.

And then once you get there, you win three in your bracket, and then you win two in the championship series.

Let's look at it this way. Ten wins away from a national championship 10 wins away let's see if we

can't take the the first step on Friday we'll get into some of that we'll look ahead to the

regional we'll look ahead of some of the teams that are coming to starkville and and man well i tell you

this this will sound like I'm pandering

and I don't mean to but you know if you got to go on the road if you got to go on the road

you got to go you got to leave your your home territory you got to get out of your out of your

own neck at the woods and you got to travel what better place than to go play a college

baseball regional than at Mississippi State.

You know, when you think about the cathedrals of college baseball in the

South Eastern Conference, and we have the lion's share of the best baseball facilities in

the country.

But you could do a lot worse as a road regional team than going to Mississippi State and
