Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson, as always. I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Friday NCAA Regional Edition of the Boneyard. I hope things are well with you today. I hope it's payday today. I hope you're on your way to Stark Vegas right now. I'm recording this show in the wee hours of Friday morning. So I haven't been to bed yet. I'll record this. We'll post it, get to bed,

and then I'll get up and head over to duty in the field. And I hope that you're going to meet us

out there because it's going to be a great weekend of baseball. Really, really excited after spending

the day Thursday on campus in the Griffith Ballroom there connected to the Palmero Center.

We had our pre-NCAA Regional Media Day.

All four teams had an opportunity to come and speak to the media.

One of the things that I'll share with you right out of the gate, very, very impressed

with each of the coaches.

I mean, if you, and I taped every one of these interviews, okay, so you can go

watch them for free over on jeans page. They're out there for free. I wanted you guys to be able to

partake in every bit of that and kind of enjoy what we witness today. But you can tell the reason

these teams have been so successful. And you've got a couple of conference champions

coming in here from the Mac and Central Michigan and from the Swack and Southern. But it's because

of the fact that they have coaches that are the number one, unbelievably knowledgeable about the game of

baseball. And number two, extremely extremely articulate they know how to get

their message across i was very impressed with every coach we saw today one of the points of

emphasis today i think three of the four coaches mentioned it today was about the volunteer

assistant coaching position about how they need to add that third assistant and that

was some legislation that was recently defeated which is an absolute joke to everybody that is

involved with college baseball I thought Chris Lamontas did a great thing today he brings Kyle

Cheeseburg up for uh to take part in the festivities today to make him visible.

I thought that was a very good gesture because there's a lot of people out here,
