I promised you I'd be back.

Season 6 of Bad With Money is coming April 22nd, and I am... so overwhelmed and tired.

Our world has been totally rocked by the coronavirus pandemic.

And right now we're living in some kind of alternate reality where we're on the brink

of a total economic collapse, crazy how easy that happened, and just a grocery store visit

away from a fight over the last package of toilet paper.

All of these changes happened so ridiculously fast.

One minute we were recording interviews for another just harmlessly themed season of

Bad With Money, and the next...

Everything we'd recorded sounded surreal.

Incomes were largely slashed, people were rent striking, the economy slowed massively.

Instead of focusing on the latest economic news...

Uh, although you can and totally should stay up to date on that from a trusted news source

who is not me...

I really want to get personal while all of this is going on.

I want to explore what an unexpected global health crisis does to our spending and how

we see ourselves when the future feels more and more uncertain.

For years, my spending had ultimately been an investment towards building an ideal life.

I wanted to be successful, hot, healthy, mentally well, charitable, kind.

Basically, the best version of Gabby Dunn possible.

I wanted and needed to be that person.
