Where I live in Miami, I'm on a pretty high floor. My floor is in the 70s, meaning 70 levels above the ground.

In Miami this is quite common, it's full of high-rises.

People outside of Miami sometimes go, what?

Aren't you dizzy up there?

And the answer is no, I love it.

Why?

Because I have just got the best view.

Oh, every morning I say thank you.

Every night I say thank you, my view, my view, my view, my vista, as we say in Spanish.

Okay, why am I speaking about my view today?

I'm not here to talk about my apartment.

What I am here to talk about is Advantage points.

Okay, so a friend of mine,

this was a couple of years ago,

she was coming here for the first time to my apartment and she's not from Miami. It can be a bit confusing getting into my building. There are a couple of entrances.

Anyway, she was down there, she was stuck. I went down to get her, brought her up, and she was like, wow, you're for you, the water.

And as soon as she said that, the second thing she said was, well, being downstairs, walking around lost, I would have had no clue that this was the view your building had.

As she was down there, there's a deli, of course there's cars,

there's a couple of different parking lots.

And I said, yep, you come up and it's like an exhale.

What's so interesting is I think that vantage points like this exist in life.
