So my friends, yesterday my husband and I watched this movie. I actually forgot the name of the movie, but it's about Jessica Watson who was the youngest person to sail around the world solo completely unassisted.

She's Australian, she's 16, Oh my watching this movie. I was like,

especially because I'm so terrified of like the deep ocean. Oh my.

And you see her in these storms, you see these challenges.

Who? Why am I telling you about this movie? I hear you cry and here is why, okay?

So this young woman, initially people were petitioning against it saying her parents were very irresponsible, etc, etc.

And then she completed her sale around the world,

breaking records, a 16 year old girl alone

in her boat that she called Pink.

And she comes home, she gets the Young Australian of the Year Award.

She gets other medals and prizes.

The Prime Minister greets her.

There are crowds in the thousands celebrating her.

Once she's done it, note the people only cheer for you once you're ahead.

But the Prime Minister said we had this special girl. She's this hero and she said you know what disagree I'm just a regular girl who had a

dream and followed it through and you know it was so interesting?

When she was trying to cajole this very well-known sailor to be her coach to help her plan the trip and help her through it,

she said to him when she was very young, someone already did this.

Apparently there was a 17 year old boy who sailed around the world, but someone did it, this 17-year-old boy.

What does that reveal to us?

This reveals to me something I know in my course so deeply, which is that success is generous.
