There's dishes that you can happily eat solo, you know, can crush a burger with some fries

or like a soup with grilled cheese. Like those are great solo things. But something about

pancakes is you want to eat it with other people. At least I do. Like I never have the urge

to just solo crush a stack of pancakes.

There's something about it that just feels like a special reason to gather.

Sort of like Dr. Seuss when it comes to pancakes.

I will eat them here, there, or everywhere.

But I agree with Kush Boucher.

There's something festive about a stack of pancakes in the

middle of the table.

It almost feels celebratory like a layer cake.

I mean, the word is in the name, right?

But instead of candles, you've got oozing butter and maple syrup.
