Hey, everybody, welcome to the Single Tracks podcast.

My name is Jeff, and today Greg and I are going to talk about some of the best places to ride your mountain bike in the Central USA.

By now, it's becoming sort of cliche to say that it's surprising to find great mountain bike trails in unassuming places.

You know, Greg and I have been writing about mountain bike travel and mountain bike trails and destinations for a long time now.

And it takes a lot for us to be surprised.

There are great trails everywhere, which is what we've found.

And this is especially true in the Central USA.

You know, somebody could spend an entire lifetime exploring the excellent single track that's located from Texas to Michigan.

So today we're going to highlight many of the trails and destinations within that region that should not be missed.

So sort of the middle of the U.S. is kind of a nebulous region, you know, depending on where

you're from or where you are. Some people might refer to this as like the Midwest or the central U.S.

That's what we're calling it.

But basically, we're including the following states.

Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
