Well, today I'm going to challenge you because I'm going to tell you that jealousy, the

emotion of jealousy, is actually quite beneficial, it can actually be beneficial.

So there are three main benefits of jealousy and I'm also going to tell you how not to

let jealousy become toxic.

The first of all, what is jealousy?

It's an emotional signal, a signal gives us information, so jealousy is giving us information

and if you view jealousy from that perspective, you can actually benefit from jealousy.

It can actually be something that can help you and become constructive instead of destructive.

But if you don't manage jealousy, it does become destructive.

Okay, so three reasons why jealousy is positive, okay?

First of all, it is an indicator of your values and your desires.

So when you feel that little prick of jealousy, that little prick of envy, that means that

you are getting some information that is prompting you to actually find out more about

something that you actually value very much or something that you desire very much.

Now that thing that you value maybe when you start being curious about it, you might

find, oh, do I really value that?

Do I really want that in my life?

Is that something I really do value?

You may find that you actually shift that value and that's a good thing.

So the jealousy prompted you to examine what you valued and to see that value constructive
