And today's 10-minute walk starts after this.

Today's walk is happening on an unused access road.

Done quite a few podcast episodes on this road. I've talked about it before.

It is a paved road that is rarely used.

It runs from a busy road here in Myrtle Beach

to the backside of the Myrtle Beach International Airport.

And you can probably even hear some, well, it's actually one jet.

It's probably going to take off while we're doing this.

I don't know how long this chunk of access road is, probably, I'm going to guess maybe two-tenths of a mile, at least to the fence.

Now if I could get past the fence, it would be a little bit longer.

And I have seen vehicles come up this road and they have, I guess, a key to the lock at the fence

and they go through.

But I do not.

In fact, there was one time I was recording an episode of the podcast on this access road

and I was near the fence and I was kind of pacing back and forth.

Someone probably in the tower saw me, thought it looked suspicious.

They called it in and a police cruiser came up the access road and just wanted to find out

what I was doing.

Actually, I was recording the podcast when he stopped to talk to me.

And I told him, that's what I'm doing, recording. In fact, you're part of it. He said, cool.
