In 1764, a reign of terror began in the Jevaodin region of France.

A strange, unknown animal began attacking and killing human beings. The beast's reign of terror ended three years later in 1767.

And according to some estimates it attacked more than 200 people. It killed more than a hundred of them.

What made the beast so ferocious? Why did it attack and kill so many people and can we identify what it was? That's what we'll be talking about on this

episode of Jimmy Yakin's mysterious world. Jimmy what do we need to say to

begin this week's mystery?

This week's mystery is a scripted hunt, a search for an unknown or hidden animal, at least an

animal that was unknown or hidden to people at the time.

However, in this case case we're dealing with

the cryptid that is a predator and it's a predator that attacks human beings.

This means that it did things that could make some listeners squeamish however as always on

mysterious world we will be keeping things as clinical as possible this means

that we won't be dwelling on the gruesome gory aspects of its attacks. However, in order to figure out what

the beast was, we can't avoid them entirely. We will be keeping those elements to a and we will be saving them as late in the episode as possible so that we don't have to
