Hey Jimmy, how do you, Dom? In 2003, author Dan Brown issued his bestseller, The Da Vinci Code.

Though it was a novel, a work of fiction, it claimed to be based on fact, and the novel's characters uncovered a plot to keep

seek with the fact that Jesus Christ had been married to Mary Magdalene.

But none of the early Christian documents they cited actually said that.

Then in 2012, a Harvard professor published a fragment of a

fragment of a lost work that did have Jesus speaking of his wife in the context of a woman named Mary.

She called this fragment the Gospel of Jesus' wife

and it caused a huge media sensation.

What is the Gospel of Jesus' wife?

What does it say?

And is it an authentic early Christian document?

Jimmy, let's start by talking about the Harvard professor who introduced the Gospel of Jesus's

wife to the world. Who is she?

Well, her name is Karen Lee King, and she was born in 1954 in Montana.

So she's 69 today, and she was 58 when she published the Gospel of Jesus's wife back in 2012.

She holds the Hollis Professor of Divinity Chair at Harvard University, which is the oldest endowed chair in the United States and which has been in existence
