Hello everybody welcome to another episode of the Savvy Painter

podcast. This is probably late this episode episode number 273 and that is

because you can probably hear in my voice I've been sick all week but my amazing crew Alcanoes and Josh are helping

me get this out anyway so it might be Friday when you hear this, but you're hearing it. And that is

thanks to, in large part to Josh and Alcanoes. Thank you so much you guys for rallying,

even though I am very very very late with this.

My voice is going to be very scratchy.

Hopefully I won't clear my throat too much or Alcanoes can take all that out. So today, super excited to talk to you about this topic. I gave a little bit of a talk on this on Monday in Mindset Monday and I want to talk a little bit more today

about how our feelings, our beliefs impact what we do in the studio and I'm going to give you a different

take on it today so I always like to give you different ways of looking at that, different ways of thinking about it because it resonates different ways for different people.

So much variety, so much differences.

So we've talked before about how our feelings power actions.

Our feelings have precedence over logic, over practicality, over discipline, over great ideas, over knowing what to do.

Our feelings have, when I say that our feelings have precedence over logic, when you really think about that.

Kind of the theme for today is oftentimes artists logically

know what they should do.

They logically see that they're doing something that isn't helping

them but they cannot for the life of them understand why because it's so obvious they can

see it it's right there in front of them.

Usually what they're seeing is the action that they're taking,

like the procrastination or why do I keep messing up my paintings?
