Now, before we dive into our affirmation of the week, I wanted to briefly speak on failure.

I was always a type of girl who thought a relationship ending meant

failure, but that is simply not true. Whether you believe it in the moment or not, every relationship you enter into, whether romantic or platonic, teaches you something.

Sometimes it's hard to see what that something is, but if you reflect long enough, you will find that lesson.

So one day about two weeks ago, I was sitting and I was so deep in my emotions and I heard God say to me your relationship did not fail it simply

but for me I know that this was God speaking directly to me.

So if you are feeling like you fail because you're no longer in the relationship you thought you be in for the long haul,

Your relationship ending is not a punishment. It is a redirection from God and your relationship did not fail. It simply ended. It ran its course at least for this season in your life. So please rest in knowing that God wants us to have the best life, our plan A, and sometimes that just doesn't look like how our human minds envisioned it to look.
