Emily, thanks for joining us today. Thanks for having me, Kwame. Yeah, it's my pleasure. So how would you get us started by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do? Sure. So I'm Emily Aries. I'm the founder and CEO of a personal and professional development organization called Bossed Up up started in 2013. I really wake up

every day helping women and marginalized communities advocate for radical progress in their

bossed up because frankly, I had been an advocate in the professional and public domain in campaigns and elections in the world of politics, which I know is near and dear to your heart as well.

But I completely burnt out.

I was so busy martyring myself for the cause, for the campaign, for others, that I, especially as a young woman, struggled to learn how to effectively advocate for myself.

And so that led me down a rabbit hole of research

talking to researchers, assembling an advisory board

and launching bossed up to help others who struggle

with the same really become the boss of their careers and lives.
