marking the 10th anniversary of an event which had a profound impact on the

kingdom of Jordan.

In 2005, neighbouring Iraq was still in ferment.

The international effort to stabilize the country following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein was being thwarted by a determined

insurgency. Many of the foreign administrators and aid workers would take time off from

the tension in Iraq by going to the Jordanian capital,

Amman.

The BBC correspondent Caroline Hawley was doing just that

when there was a triple bombing in which nearly 60 people were killed.

It was the country's worst ever terrorist attack.
