Hey, everyone. It's time for more observations. I am Rob Lefeld, and this is where we do

observations, where we talk comics in pop culture and how everything connects together and why

your movies are the comics from my youth. And the comics of my youth is where you're going to get

more of your movies and your television and why I love comics more than I love movies and

television but we we discover that all along the journey so so we are right in the thick

of the dawn of an era that changed everything in comics called the

1990s. I can't believe it has been 30 years since the 1990s. But, you know, we kind of did our

intro to the decade. And certainly there was a couple of precursor episodes,

a couple of set-up episodes, the L-boys, Todd McFarlane hunting down, all the guys with the name

L in their last name because he referred to us as Dowboys.

And so so so then we jumped ahead because it was just in the moment,

but it was definitely in the 90s.

It was 1996, but that's not, and Heroes Reborn, which is what I dig,

but that's not what I think of when I think of the 90s.

And right now we started basically 89,

90, 91 is where the entire whirlwind begins. And I detailed with you guys the creation of

cable because cable as a character impacted the culture, impacted, and impacted my life as the guy who made

Cable. Cable was my life raft. But interestingly enough, tonight, once again, joined by the mighty
