In today's episode I'm going to be sharing with you something that I've observed in people with anxious attachment as they go through the process of becoming more aware of their attachment behaviors and how those things have affected their relationships and ultimately moving to healing some of those patterns and

behaviors and shifting to a more secure attachment. So you may have seen this episode

observation right this is not something you're going to find in a textbook or

reading a book unless I write it. It's very much from my observation so don't take it as some sort of

doctrine or gospel. It's really just something that I wanted to share with you because I think it's really important and by looking at these three stages which I think we could also describe as three different mindsets around anxious attachment. I suspect you might notice aspects of yourself in some of them and you might then be able to use that to understand why your mindset about your anxious attachment,

your partner's attachment and your relationship to the extent you're in one right now or a previous

relationship. The way that you relate to these things in your

mindset has a huge impact on your ability to meaningfully shift those patterns and if

you're not approaching it in a mindset that is conducive to you know quote

unquote healing then that might be one of the reasons why you're stuck so I'm

hoping that in sharing these three stages or three different mindsets that you can see some of that in yourself and then see where your work might be in shifting into the most optimal mindset for making meaningful change.
