About the time that his book Black A of History was released, Michael Harrier and I got a chance to sit down to discuss some of the themes of the book and why it is so relevant considering the times we currently find ourselves in.

So here you are. That time I sat down and interviewed Michael

Harriet. Michael Harriet, phenomenal writer actually, who loves words, both written and spoken, and he

loves the way they tumble off pallets and jump off pages and writing a novel is one of the many

dreams that he's been able to live. He's worked as a corn harvester, chef, radio personality,

bartender, journalist, publicist, nightclub owner, waiter, mortgage broker, project manager, student fast food sandwich maker and graphic designer.

He is a native of Hartsfield, South Carolina, attended Auburn University as an undergraduate and went on to receive his master's in business.

And he has been writing since the age of 11, thanks in part to his mother's aspirations to become an author,

and has produced scores of finished and unfinished manuscripts, poetry, lyrics, scripts, and short stories.
