Don't worry June 21st will still be the longest day with 14 hours, 53 minutes and 53 seconds of daylight.

Sunrises have been getting earlier and earlier since January 5th. The earliest sunrise will be on June 14th.

That's tomorrow or the next day. June 14th at 5.42 a.m. in the DC area.

June 7th through the 20th will have sunrises in the 5.42 minute. But June 14th, one week before the solstice will be the earliest.

So I guess that's in seconds. I guess it changes by seconds. Sunsets have been getting later since December 7th in the DC area.

The latest sunset will be on June 28th at 8.37 p.m. Similar to sunrises, sunsets will be in the 8.37 minute between June 22nd and July 3rd with the latest on June 28th.

I will mail again in about 6 months when we approach the winter solstice to make sure you are properly prepared.
