understanding of god's word and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence

in your life. Well, you know this if you listen often enough. We have our good friend,

Than Bennett, on the show every month for what we call a faith perspective from the Hill.

Than serves as a director for government affairs for the ACLJ. We're going to get him on and just

talk about some of the issues of our day. A couple of quick things I want to say. First, thank you for

praying me through COVID. It was something. And I will say about a week ago Sunday, I hit this

kind of point where the breathing thing was a bit of a challenge and struck some fear. And I mean,

I actually texted, reached out to Thann and Brooke Bennett and some other good friends who just

are safe places for me and said, I'm afraid.

Will you please pray for me?

And the flurry of texts and prayers came in.

And something happened.

Like in the last week, it was a hard week physically, but I was overwhelmed every day

with a sense of shalom peace, every day with a sense of joy and expectancy and that

God was near and it was one of those times for me that surpassed understanding and I know some

people walk in that all of the time I don't I would love to but where I did nothing God just

flooded the room and flooded my heart, and I just knew it was

going to be okay. So, you know, we can't do this thing alone. And Kim, I'm my producer before the show.
