Hey, everyone, welcome to another episode of Dr. Rucho.

This is Dr. Rucho, and I wanted to say thank you today in a variety of ways.

We're not going to get super deep into medical research,

although there's quite a bit here that I think will be relevant to how we think about medicine,

health care. But I wanted to start off by saying thank you, really your support for the book,

our supplements, the clinical newsletter, the podcast. This has really enabled me and our team to do more and to exert a positive influence

in the world.

And I'm, in case you haven't noticed, it's probably pretty obvious at this point.

I'm really trying to reform the field and guide the field in a better direction because

people deserve better than what you're getting.

Again, not thinking that anyone is intentionally giving bad advice, but the field can clearly

do better than it is. And that's okay, right? I mean, if we were at perfect, then there'd be

nothing left to do. So there's work to do. And people deserve

better. Clinicians deserve better training and patients deserve better clinical care.

But it's surprisingly hard to exert that influence because we're competing against
