What a beautiful 4th of July weekend it turned out to be.

And we had some fun again and I went out and did a hike and bike on Friday and it was a blast.

We did a, I guess it was about five mile hike up to Mount Tammany at Worthington State Park in New Jersey.

Hiked up there, beautiful views of the water gap from up there.

An area I love, it's my old stomping ground, not far from where I grew up.

Then we hiked down to Dunfield Creek where there's a nice little mortar hole area where you can cool off.

Probably spent a little more time there than we should have, but it was worth it.

Sticking our feet in the cold water, cooling off a little bit because it was really hot on Friday.

Temperatures may have been in the low 90s, it was hot, just a beautiful day.

Then we drove over to the other side of the river.

We're in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and we biked a portion of the McDade Trail.

McDade Trail is a 31 mile trail in total, 31 miles and it goes along the Delaware River.

It's a nice bike trail, not too difficult.

It was a fun ride, we did about 23 miles and then we went and had a cold beer, which is kind of our tradition.
